So much has been said about Man United win against Man City last Sunday. It is as if the players have been able to play according to Amorim’s tactics. The players are more hungry, cohesive, and disciplined. Yes, for sure there have been improvements on almost every aspect but still there are gaps to be filled and weaknesses to overcome. They say the patterns are visible, game plans are carried out and pressing is more aggressive. And possession too is more obvious. But what if the win last weekend was just a flash in the pan?
I hope the team can prove me wrong by tomorrow morning Malaysian time because
they will be playing against Spurs in the EFL quarter final. And it is an away
game too. So if they are able to execute the game plan, and win the game
emphatically, then I believe that Man United has started to turn the corner. It
is a critical stage, if I am to be honest.
I really hope last weekend’s win was not just a ‘one-off’ occasion.
Go! Go! Man United!!
