d day nkchai breaks d record..

it's d sports day. yours truly was d sports secretary; runner of everything actually.. making sure plans run as schedule. i was so glad it went as plan though it rained in d early part of the morning. the rain made the weather and standing out on d track as d pelepas bearable.. alhamdulillah.
but d climax of d sports day was d surprise event: 100m race for men teachers. it was something i had waited for, to be running on d track racing against others. d line-up consisted of basit, zamri, sayed karin, zubir, sharizal, rahim, husaini, roslan and me. but i saw d challenge would come from basit n sharizal, being young themselves, especially basit who's still in his twenties.
as we got off d block, i was quite slow and basit and sharizal were a few strides in front. but by d 50m, like usain bolt, i gained speed and overtook everyone to win d race. yes!! hahahAha
a time of 14.5 seconds is not bad i guess, considering my half a century age.. kn
