Never appeared..

With ‘Everest’ in the drawer

To share with each other

Over one or two laughter..

Waited

All week long

But you guys

Just walked along

As if nothing’s wrong

Drifted away

Into another day..

Friends I thought we were

But you didn’t have the same idea

Guess I was just dreaming for the day

We could be together laughing and gay..

Outside it rained

And in my room

I waited in vain..
